One of the succulents that survived the two weeks of very hot weather after Christmas is this propeller plant whose scientific name is Crasulla Falcata. It grows to a height of 1-2 feet and is an enduring plant or perennial. They normally are planted at least a feet away from each other as the propellers spread and grow. The leaves which are striking gray propeller like are bold and eye-catching especially when it grows flowers which are bright red like the one below.
This did not grow flowers. Not sure why. Maybe because this used to be just one plant and I took half of it and replanted and is still trying to grow roots.
